{"id":10509,"date":"2026-01-14T09:06:08","date_gmt":"2026-01-14T09:06:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.essecieffe.it\/update-of-the-guidelines-for-the-preparation-of-the-pricing-and-reimbursement-dossier-of-a-medicinal-product\/"},"modified":"2026-05-15T11:44:07","modified_gmt":"2026-05-15T11:44:07","slug":"update-of-the-guidelines-for-the-preparation-of-the-pricing-and-reimbursement-dossier-of-a-medicinal-product","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.essecieffe.it\/en\/update-of-the-guidelines-for-the-preparation-of-the-pricing-and-reimbursement-dossier-of-a-medicinal-product\/","title":{"rendered":"Update of the Guidelines for the preparation of the pricing and reimbursement dossier of a medicinal product"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With Determination DTS No. 88\/2025 of 23 December 2025, AIFA published an update to the \u2018Guidelines for the preparation of the dossier supporting the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) of a medicinal product for the purposes of reimbursement and pricing under the National Health Service. <\/p>\n<p>The update reflects the most recent developments in the regulatory framework, both at the European level \u2014 with the harmonisation of HTA assessment processes \u2014 and at the national level, following the reorganisation of AIFA\u2019s decision\u2011making structures, which assigned to the Scientific and Economic Commission for Medicines (CSE) the responsibilities previously held by the Technical\u2011Scientific Commission (CTS) and the Pricing and Reimbursement Committee (CPR), as well as the introduction of new criteria for recognising the innovativeness of medicinal products.<\/p>\n<p>The updated Guidelines apply to the ordinary negotiation procedures for the reimbursement and pricing of medicinal products, corresponding to types TN\u20111 to TN\u20117.
